The location near the ferry lets you walk for free to dinner in Cananéia. On the opposite side of the road you can go to Boqueirão do Sul, a quiet beach. We ate twice at Juras, where there were MPB shows with excellent regional musicians and no cover charge. Bia was also super helpful and had the chalet ready for us. Everything was perfect. The place focuses on nature, so don’t expect iFood.

The spot is super quiet and surrounded by nature, and Bia, the chalet owner, was always on hand with the exact directions and quick replies whenever I needed help. The only hiccup is that getting into downtown Cananeia requires a ferry that runs every hour and is free only for pedestrians—a detail the listing didn’t spell out, but it wasn’t a big deal.

Location can’t be beat—right by a free bus stop and within walking distance of Cananeia’s night scene, so I left the car at the place and just explored on foot. Bia was constantly available, giving clear check‑in and check‑out instructions, and the chalet had all the basic kitchen gear you’d need. Cleanliness was fine, though a deeper clean would have been nice, and the tiny space could use smarter furniture layout and a few more power outlets.
