I received a free room upgrade. The family room was beautifully furnished and well thought out, with a small walk‑in closet, a toilet, and a separate shower in the bathroom. The terrace offered a great view, and the décor was cozy. The staff were very courteous and friendly. The food was very good, and the prices were not overpriced. The toll fee for the up‑and‑down trip is refunded.

The location and the helpful staff were great, and that first beer I had in Austria was delicious. The mattresses in the beds were fine. But the arrival was a total mess – only one person ran the restaurant and the front desk. We didn’t even order beer because no one was available for half an hour to take orders. By evening and Saturday there were more people and it ran smoothly. The window in the room wouldn’t close, but we sorted that quickly with a staff member.

The place is well situated. The hotel feels very old, the staff are friendly but clearly understaffed, leading to huge wait times for food and drink. It’s far too expensive for what’s offered.

Nice area for walks around the surroundings. The kids’ playground with a view was not working.
