A completely quiet spot between small rice fields right in the middle of the very busy Ubud. The clean rooms each have a terrace overlooking a lovely garden, a surprising oasis of calm. Our hosts were fantastic, very, very nice, helpful, and far more supportive than usual. Less than 100 m away, from 7.30 am onward, excellent Italian coffee and one of Ubud’s best Balinese restaurants—long lines in the evenings (reserve if possible). Simply great and highly recommended! We would have loved to stay longer.

The property sits right amid the rice paddies yet is still very close to the city center, and the Warung Gauri across the street is excellent. The breakfast, however, was very basic for 50000rp.
