The spot is unbeatable, right by the beach, Marina, tons of restaurants and shops—all within arm’s reach. The balcony looked like it hadn’t been cleaned after previous guests, had no sound isolation, and it felt like the other rooms were the same as mine.

The location is great, close to the sea. The room isn’t large, the bathroom feels old, but everything else works fine except the TV, which you don’t really need. It was too noisy to sleep because the hotel is right next to a restaurant that hosts concerts and shows every night. Breakfast was very basic; there were no regular coffee cups, only cartons, and the coffee itself was instant and didn’t taste good.

Checking in was easy and friendly; the manager walked me through the room, explaining how to use the shower and the air conditioner, and told me to call reception if I needed anything. My room was spotless and had everything I needed, and as a solo female traveler I felt very secure. The only oddity was that the room had a kettle but no cups—something I didn’t need anyway, but it seemed strange; maybe I should have asked reception about it.

The walls and doors were not very tight. At night I heard drunken Russian girls returning from a party.
