Breakfast offered everything you’d expect, the setting was very quiet and green, and the staff were attentive and friendly. There were no complaints.

The hotel sits on a quiet cul‑de‑sac with plenty of walking space, the dinner was excellent with good wine suggestions, and the breakfast was solid. The room was huge with a great bed, parking was ample and secure for our car transporter, and the building itself has a lot of history. The shower area felt cramped compared to the room size, for example a shelf for a toiletry bag. The hotel is essentially unmanned and therefore closed until 17:00; we arrived earlier than scheduled and couldn’t enter. Inside there is no lounge where you can sit before meals or work. You do get a very friendly spot assigned, but that’s in the restaurant. A lounge would be a nice addition that would bring the rating up to a 9.
