“Excellent gateway”
The hotel's location and ambiance were top-notch, and the staff, particularly Dananjaya and his team, were super friendly. However, the final approach to the hotel was a bit of a letdown - it's a rough road that could definitely use some carpeting to make it more welcoming.

This place is a real gem, hidden away in the natural landscape. The service is top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff. The only thing that lets it down is the cleanliness - a bit more attention to detail would make it perfect.
We had a fantastic stay here, with beautiful and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast and dinner, and a very welcoming and attentive staff. The only downside is the tricky access road, which is a bit of a challenge to navigate, especially with a van - but our driver was a pro!

Our stay was a mixed bag - the location was stunning and very peaceful, but it was also very far from the centre of Kandy, which made it hard to get around. The communication with the establishment was a bit complicated, but the staff were very helpful and the food was good. Unfortunately, the place was infested with ants, and the pool was too cold to enjoy. Overall, it was a nice spot, but with some drawbacks.

We were blown away by the lovely staff who cooked us three delicious meals a day, and the cool architecture built into the rock was a real highlight. The plunge infinity pool was also a great spot to relax, although it was a bit chilly. However, the unsealed road from Kandy was a nightmare for our driver and his new van, and the property is quite far from town - we ended up staying put for a whole day because we didn't want to trek up and back.
