The staff were very helpful and polite, and the rooms were clean and well maintained. Everything was fine except a rat was in the bathroom; after reporting it we were moved to another room right away so it wouldn’t happen again.

The rooms were stylish and the bed, pillows and blankets were very comfortable, but the staff were extremely unfriendly. Even the person on the phone—probably the manager—was rude and tried to charge an extra 1000 Rupien. Every room, the linens and the towels smelled like burnt plastic, which was disgusting and gave us severe headaches. We were glad we only booked one night; another night would have been unbearable because of the stench. The check‑out was also awful, as we had to wait until the room was inspected, as if we were a dirty gypsy or Indian.

“Good, neat budget hotel for short stay.”

The room was neat and clean; the facilities were simple but well made, though the rooms could be a bit more sound‑proof—everybody in the corridor can be heard.
