The staff is very friendly, the hotel’s lakeside location is great, the room is clean, and breakfast is superb. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed that day, and it wasn’t easy to find a good restaurant by bike.

Sehr freundliches Personal, unbezahlbare Lage, and a beautiful glass of wine on the seaterasse at sunset; however, the slippery bathtubs that require one to crawl in to shower need to be converted into walk‑in showers urgently, and the breakfast served at the table forces you to ask for every extra glass of juice.

We had stayed at the Seehotel Lindenhof several times before and it was again very nice; this charming little hotel right on the lake, set in the beautiful landscape of northern Brandenburg, offers relaxation and slowing down all around; the rooms are designed like small apartments with a kitchenette and a separate sleeping area, though not all rooms have a balcony or terrace; the staff are extremely friendly and always look after the guests; breakfast is served in the restaurant and, on good weather, on the terrace with a view of the lake; breakfast is table‑served—there is no buffet; on opening days you can dine well in the restaurant in the evening; the hotel’s kitchen is extraordinary; the area around Lychen offers many leisure activities such as cycling, boating, swimming and hiking; you can bathe directly from the hotel’s bathing platform or from the lawn directly on the lake. There was nothing to complain about.
