“Great place, great room, great staff.”

Great location, amazing beach that was completely clean even though there was one of the biggest sargasso waves of the last 10 years. The outside stone shower was very beautiful. In a 5‑star location I expect that if you clean the room you will also clean the pool. Before and after the cleaning the same dead insects were still there floating.

“Flawless service, total privacy, and staff who made a family of four feel like royalty”

I think this is the best hotel experience I've ever had. Chablé Maroma sits in the jungle and feels almost private, perfectly positioned between Playa del Carmen and Cancun. With only 70 casitas scattered through the foliage, and it being low season, the staff knew us by name within a day. The rooms were stunning, fully private, and spotless, with meticulous detail everywhere. Our kids were fascinated by the private pool. The beach was beautiful: clean and groomed several times daily! What really sets this place apart is the people. The service was caring and genuinely personalized at every level—front desk, attendants, concierge, everyone. Countless small touches made us feel at home. I was working remotely at night for a few days and the manager arranged a workspace for me. The restaurant staff spotted our daughter and began printing personalized drawing sheets for her at breakfast, with the things she likes. It's the kind of attention you can't fake. I believe her name was Paula. Honestly, every staff member during our stay was outstanding! The food matched the service. Breakfast was perfect each morning, the Michelin‑rated restaurant was exceptional, and the wine selection was excellent. They even had beach and pool toys ready for the kids. We arrived after a disappointing stay at a much larger resort nearby (Xcaret Mexico), and the contrast was immediate. This is what 5‑star really means. We felt like royalty from arrival to departure and can't wait to return. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer.

“Wunderschöne ruhige Anlage - kann man sehr empfehlen!”

The quiet location right in the jungle was especially appealing. We had a lot of privacy. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Great service. The food was excellent. Only small issues, such as our plunge pool was not cleaned for two days despite repeated requests. Even in such a beautiful resort there were “couch‑surfers,” so on one day we couldn't get a lounge chair at the pool, but there were almost none there.
