The suite was huge, modern and spotless, and the balcony gave us plenty of space to enjoy the sea view. A short walk took us to a gorgeous beach that was perfect for a stroll, and the scenery from the room was simply stunning. We honestly liked everything about it.

Staying at the Headlands Austinmer Beach Hotel felt like a true seaside escape – the location right on the sand gave us amazing ocean views and easy surf access, while the rooms were roomy, clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were super comfy and the restaurant served tasty dishes, especially the grilled snapper and honey‑hot pizza, with staff who were helpful and knew the menu well. We also loved the outdoor seating area where we could sip drinks in the ocean breeze.

The view from the room was definitely a highlight, but the shower had some mould that was a bit off‑putting, and the curtains didn’t block out the morning light, making it hard to sleep in. To top it off, the bar didn’t have a corkscrew at all, which was a minor inconvenience.

The room was spacious with a stunning view and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. The staff at reception were super helpful and the outdoor areas around the bistro, bar and pool were gorgeous. But the food at the bistro left something to be desired and the service there felt a bit slow.
