This is a great place where the hosts clearly care about details and have thought of everything. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the hosts are very pleasant to deal with. Breakfast is a little extra but really good, and we would stay here again.

The unit sits on a canal and has an outdoor patio. Across the canal the area is industrial and the canal carries large boats, but the end of the canal is close enough that there was not much boat traffic and we were not disturbed. We appreciated the coffee and tea provided along with other little comforts. Papendrecht has several grocery and convenience stores, and parking is easy. The owner is friendly. The bridge from Papendrecht to Dordrecht was closed because of construction, but the drive to Dordrecht in our car was only about 15 minutes.

The house was clean and the bed was wonderful. The owner gave a nice welcome, and the place is close to a pier for crossing to Dordrecht. In short, I recommend it.
