The room was right on the road, so the noise was constant and pretty loud. Nothing else really stood out, but the street sounds made it hard to relax.

The pillows were yellowed, lumpy and the mattress felt ancient, so sleeping was uncomfortable. The blanket was thin, I had to crank up the heater, and the door wouldn’t shut properly—I ended up propping a bathmat under it.

The hotel is a short walk to the town centre and the on‑site parking is handy if you don’t have a car. Unfortunately I was jolted awake at 4:30 am by a guest having visitors, and I think the manager should sort that out with the residents.

The spot is spot‑on and the bed was comfy, plus the place stayed relatively quiet and had parking. On arrival the floor was wet from the fridge, the light switch above the bed was broken, the shower pressure was weak, and an extra pillow would have been nice.

The beds and pillows were firm and comfortable, and the sheets felt fresh. The only downside was a bedspread that clearly needed a wash.
