They managed to give me the side‑by‑side rooms I asked for, and the staff were very friendly. I even checked in by phone early to lock in the rooms I wanted.

There was nothing to like about this hotel. Walking into the room felt like a jail cell, and I’m still trying to get a refund. The room was dark, dirty, smelled only of smoke, and the wall plugs had no covers so you could see all the wires.

The moment I entered the building, the odor was very strong and it looked far from clean; dogs barked all night, the air conditioner didn’t work properly, and the shower didn’t drain well.
