The hotel was the first on Paros, opened in 1940, and it carries an old‑world charm while being beautifully renovated; it feels full of history. All staff and the owner were very warm, making us feel very comfortable. We liked the location: a large public parking lot right in front of the door (on the opposite side of the street) and a stress‑free walk to the city at night. The beds were the most comfortable! TOP!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the location is great if you have a car and are only a few minutes from the old town. Breakfast was basic, and we didn’t have hot water for several days.

The hotel is a lovely place near the ferry and the pretty old town of Parikia, only a 10‑minute walk from the harbor. The outdoor area is well designed and the interior feels more like a southern Italian villa than a typical Greek city hotel. The staff are friendly, family‑like, and very easygoing, making you feel comfortable right away. My room was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. A simpler breakfast is available in the mornings, and for more options you can find plenty in the old town just around the corner. Usually I stay in Naoussa on Paros when I’m there longer, but for this short stop while hopping around the Cyclades, the Doukissa in Parikia was the perfect choice because of its proximity to the ferry. Highly recommended!

The stay was very pleasant. The hotel is lovely and extremely well located, close to the port and all the pedestrian streets. The staff were very friendly and kind, and they helped us with anything we needed. The room was nice and comfortable. The value for money was exactly as presented. Breakfast is not a buffet, but I actually appreciated the fact that there was no waste — everything was very well thought out and organized.
