The location was great, the staff at breakfast were lovely, and the garden was beautiful. There was no car parking, and the four cars kept on the property were warmed up and revved, creating a lot of noise for a while. The high revving also produced a cloud of smoke and exhaust fumes that drifted into our room.

We stayed in four rooms on the first floor of a historic family villa, with the owner on the top floor. The period furniture, comfy beds, spacious high ceilings, and shutters were impressive. It was a 2‑minute walk to the bus terminal and a 5‑minute walk to the gate into the old town. Our suite offered views of the sea in the distance. The fish shop/restaurant Jonica is superb and only a 3‑minute walk away. The villa sits on a street corner, so traffic can be heard early in the morning and late at night; windows and shutters need to be shut, and ear plugs are provided. It wasn’t a deal‑breaker for us.

The only good thing was the location, close to the center. I was disappointed overall. The front of the building has a garden that looks much better in the photos than in person, while the back faces a busy highway that stays noisy all night. I couldn’t find parking nearby in August. Breakfast was poor in both quality and quantity, with no fresh local produce. The beds were uncomfortable and the price was too high for what was offered.

The spot was perfect for exploring Noto, with a beautiful garden that also hosts breakfast—a nice start to the day. There was no noise, and street parking worked fine; we could leave the car right in front of the door. The hotel and room had an overpowering scent of strong perfume, which was too much for us. Breakfast could use more bread, fresh fruit, and yogurt options.
