Christine and Nate greeted us as if we were family members they hadn't seen in years; the bed was super comfy and the room felt homely, decorated with high‑quality items that made the stay enjoyable. We especially loved the bear motifs everywhere, from the cupboard handles to the shower curtain. It was the first time on the trip we could enjoy a proper cup of tea with boiling water from a kettle—essential for any British visitor. Those small touches really complemented the high standards and thoughtful comforts. We also appreciated the model village set up in the lobby.

The old house, built in the 1830s, had a lot of charm; the bed was comfortable and the owners were very nice. We found coffee and oatmeal packets but no other continental breakfast items.
