Beechwood Hotel

“Great hotel , good value, clean and comfortable”

The hotel was lovely, clean, and comfortable; the staff were all polite, friendly, and professional. I stayed in a single room, which usually means a tiny cupboard, but my single at the Beechwood was small yet had a very comfortable bed and pillows, a decent bathroom with a bath, a large window, plenty of tea, coffee, fresh milk, and a bottle of water in the fridge. The Wi‑Fi was good, and the TV offered a decent range of streaming options. The cooked breakfast was top quality. Nothing else to note.

“Good food, friendly staff.”

I ate a solid breakfast and dinner, but the parking spot behind the main building was under a pine tree that left leaves on my car. The room felt chilly, and lights leaked through the bedroom blinds at night, so I only managed 4 hours of sleep on Tuesday and 5 on Wednesday.

The place was serene and luxurious; the room itself felt like a masterpiece of antique and vintage design. The property was truly exceptional.

“Excellent”

The view of the hotel was lovely, the location brilliant, there was plenty of parking, and it was easy to find. Leaving to go home was a downside.
