I was very frustrated with this booking because I rarely check my email and I had canceled my reservation with no fees and no explanation; I only found out the night before we were supposed to arrive. Fortunately I called the motel and secured a reservation directly, and they told me no fees would be collected through your website. I’ll dispute any fees from booking with my credit card. My email also said you tried to contact me by phone, which is nonsense because you could have left a voicemail. I will never use this service again; you’ve lost my business. The motel was OK as it’s being renovated; the new owners were nice but still have a lot of work to do. The base of the bed sticks out too much, causing bruised legs; there is no plug in the bathroom and the toilet rocks when you sit. We had a very loud guest next to us the first night, but the owners didn’t know until we told them, and the next night was quiet.

I was charged an extra 30 dollars at the front desk for a king bed, even though I booked a king online. The staff called the room a deluxe, but there was nothing deluxe about it. We had stayed here before because the rates were good and the place was decent, but it feels like someone else has taken over and it’s going downhill. Next time we’ll pay extra for a better motel elsewhere. Don’t overcharge customers or they won’t return.
