Everything at the facility is clean. The hot spring, restaurants, supermarket, and drugstore are all within walking distance. The proprietor explains everything clearly. Breakfast can be taken between 7:30 and 9:00 if you let him know the time.

The room and common areas are all very clean and lovely (I didn’t use the shower, but the washbasin and toilet are also very tidy). The hot spring is within walking distance. The host arranged a restaurant reservation and was very helpful, taking into account how we wanted to spend our time, yet not pressuring us, so we could relax. Drinks are also available at the counter.

A private room for the three of us made the outing with friends very pleasant. Breakfast costs an extra 500 JPY per person but is truly good and affordable. There were three seed‑bread slices with kiwi and clementine jam, plus coffee or tea. We found a cockroach in the drawer, which was unexpected. The toilets are a bit far from the private room we had, as is the bathroom.

I was glad to find a stylish renovated hotel in Nishiizu, where such options are rare. However, the noise seeped in everywhere, and the room had an odd smell; one bed was a mattress, the other a futon.
