The welcome in this wonderful house was lovely, with good advice, an “extraordinary garden” as C. Trenet sang, a perfect and quiet location for exploring the area, and a breakfast of excellent homemade pastries and jams that we’ll recommend to friends; the only issue was the steep stairs to the room.

Breakfast was very good, with products made by the host; the garden was carefully crafted and tasteful; the décor of the lodging was sophisticated, and the thick walls helped us sleep well.

Every detail in the house was either professionally restored or an authentic replica, harmoniously and tastefully decorated, absolutely wonderful! The breakfast offered a wide variety of homemade cakes and jams.

A historic 17th‑century building in a quiet, secluded spot on the edge of town with a wood behind it; the interior is charming, the garden absolutely beautiful, and the hosts very pleasant and helpful. Christophe and Philippe always had good restaurant and sightseeing tips. Breakfast was delightful, with plenty of home‑baked cakes. The only negatives were the steep stairs to our room—expected in an old building—and the occasional noise from fast‑moving youngsters in the town at night, which the hosts couldn’t control.
