The hotel's location was convenient for me, as I needed to be close to Okatie.
The staff's response to our concerns was also unhelpful.

“Fine old hotel meticulously maintained”
Breakfast was great and the staff kept the serving platters warm and full. The exercise room was questionable.
Yes
The front desk team was outstanding and made everything smooth.
We stay here whenever we visit our youngest; the staff are always very friendly, rooms are clean, and the breakfast isn’t the largest but it’s hot with enough choices. The gym is a bit small, but that isn’t a major issue for me—I managed to work out, so it isn’t really a complaint.
The place was spotless and cozy, giving me a perfect stay.
