“We had a great time walking and enjoying Mountain View’s”
The nearby cafés are wonderful and the property is very quiet, plus there’s a large jetted bathtub. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub were out of service because of maintenance.

The property sits in a prime spot with beautiful views and a pleasing aesthetic. The downside was that we weren’t told beforehand the pool was closed, which was one of the reasons I chose this place for a weekend getaway.

The location is very convenient, within walking distance of any restaurant, but the hillside terrain with many steps and ramps makes it unsuitable for the elderly or disabled. When you drive in and out of the property, you hit a roundabout that’s quite dangerous due to heavy traffic.

The location of the hotel was great - slightly elevated, and very central. The rooms / villas were also very large, and the dedicated balcony was a plus. Availability was sparse during our time of travel, so while this was not our first choice, the hotel looked good from pictures and reviews. We paid ~$400 for a single night. Unfortunately, we found both the property and service to be very underwhelming. The disappointment began on the night of our check-in: I had requested a villa with a nice view of the mountains and was happy when we were told we had a villa on the second floor at a corner of the property. Sadly, we were told soon after a manager stopped by that due to a "conflict in the system" we would get a villa on the first floor facing the activity center instead. This was sold to us as having "better views anyway", and when we asked for our original assignment we were blatantly asked "could you tell me the reason why you want villa xyz specifically?" - it sounded as though we had some nefarious plans there. I would have fought this more if we had stayed more than one night. Soon after receiving our keys (and this was late at night after a long and tiring drive, with our 4 year old in my arms), we were directed to someone who tried selling us a timeshare / vacation package, which we were not interested in at all. On the way to the room we were shocked to see the location and state of the rooms - the balcony faced a walking path and we could stare right into the "activity center". In a small corner we could get a glimpse of the mountains when standing at the edge of the terrace. Some guests were also walking around that seemed rather sketchy. The room itself was very large, but extremely dated: there was a hole in the front door, light switches and plugs were yellowed out, appliances were very old - everything just seemed like it needed updating years ago. We want to go back to beautiful Sedona, but we would never stay here again. I'd rather pay a bit more and stay at a significantly more premium hotel

The location is unbeatable, and after leaving something behind, the check‑in and management were handled smoothly.
