We loved staying at the Queen City Inn. It was comfortable, and we could bring our new puppy, Burna Doodle, who was very accommodating. It was a perfect place to vacation, especially traveling with a dog. The rooms were clean, comfortable, lovely, and extremely affordable. We will keep coming back again and again.

I was happy to be close to my destination, but the place felt really worn out. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned—hair was in the tub and a dirty cloth was hanging from the shower curtain—and the lock was on the outside of the door.

The hotel was close enough to the only gas station with food, and the towels and linens were clean. Checking in was straightforward. However, the ceiling had large chunks missing, the bathtub was patched, and the room was very cold. I couldn’t get the TV remote to work, and trucks parked outside made a lot of noise all night, with men shouting under my window. In the morning, while I was showering, someone pounded on the door and told me to leave my towel in front of a parking lot full of people for a fire alarm that I never heard. The fire department showed up, and I almost missed my brother’s wedding. I packed up and left after a sleepless night. If you’re traveling alone, don’t stay here. Food delivery services wouldn’t deliver to me, the door was drafty, and I smelled cigarette smoke all night. The bed felt like a cardboard box, and the curtains didn’t block the windows, so people could see through the mirror on the wall.
