“Was okay”

We weren’t disturbed at night. The lights were dim and kept cutting out, the shower wouldn’t turn up high or it would literally scream, and the shower handle was broken. There wasn’t enough hand soap, the fridge didn’t cool, and staff tried to walk into our room 30 minutes before checkout, even while we were getting dressed. Overall, I had a good night with friends, but those things could be fixed. A young lady at the front desk was amazing; I loved her personality—Lakyla.

“I checked out early due to fear for my safety.”

I had a bad experience. I didn’t feel safe staying here. A loud man’s voice yelling outside woke me up around 3:30 am. Around that time someone started banging on the doors and jiggling the door handles near my room. After everything got quiet I peeked out the window to see a patrol car circling the parking lot. This was very concerning as a woman staying alone, and I didn’t feel comfortable going back to sleep afterward. I waited until the sun came out around 7 am to check out early and change hotels. I raised the safety concerns with the front desk, and they seemed unconcerned. There was also mold on the shower ceiling due to poor ventilation. Please read other reviews before staying here. I found out later that this hotel has a history of armed robbery when I searched online. There are many safer hotels nearby to stay at instead.
