What can I say, we felt in paradise. The staff are super available and meet every need, including organizing excursions for various whale shark/turtle/manta tours, with prices in line with the rest of the island (we contacted several before choosing!) if not lower. We couldn’t find the whale shark; they searched long and in all ways, even with a drone, but it depends on the animal. To avoid wasting money, they offered us to swim with nurse sharks instead. It’s not directly related to the property but I wanted to highlight the honesty of the excursion officer who is part of the Dhoadhi staff. He also provided us free drone and INSTA360 footage, and the property supplied sandwiches and snacks for the day on the boat. The property is fairly new and well kept, clean room, daily towel change service and beach towel refills. The bathroom is like the rest of Sri Lanka (our previous stop before the Maldives) with a non‑separate shower, so everything floods, but after 10 days we got used to it. Just leave it there and it dries itself with the heat. Breakfast is buffet, somewhat repetitive and not very varied, but in my opinion complete. You can access water, tea and coffee at any time during your stay. You can also have lunch and dinner; we dined at the property a couple of times with a setting (a table for 2 in front of the hotel, on the sand, 1 m from the sea) that has nothing to envy compared to the “romantic dinner” on the beach that charge extra across the island. Not to mention the abundance of rice and noodles and the quality of the fresh fish caught that day cooked in a truly tasty way. All at a price (about 20 € for two) that’s like the few restaurants on the island, if not lower, but with a lot more food.
