The spot was perfect for skiing, the breakfast—both Japanese and European options—was fantastic in a separate room, the onsen was great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the cigarette smell that lingered in the common areas; the room and dining area stayed smoke‑free.

The gondola is super close and the breakfast they serve is fantastic, making it my top pick for staying near Mt. Toba; after skiing you’re just a short walk from restaurants and shops. No complaints at all.

Good location. 1 minutes away from the slope. 1 minute to the shuttle bus station. The staircase of the dry room is steep
