Moinhos do Paiva

Overall, the site is wonderful, offering a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The massages are excellent, and I recommend them. Mrs. Cláudia and Mrs. Ana are exceptional. We loved it. The internet is very weak and doesn’t work on the upper floor, and the massage area was very cold during our October visit.

“Amazing Riverside spot”

The pool, buildings, and rooms were great, with lovely views and a tranquil setting in nature. It was fantastic to have river access and walking trails. Ana and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The kitchen facilities were accessible, though not meant for cooking—just storage and snacks. We had a wonderful time. We got used to the very steep narrow road leading to the property—perhaps call a supermarket on the way for basics and snacks beforehand. We still managed to dine at a local restaurant most nights despite the steep access. The distances to walk to local cafés seemed off—you’d probably need to drive. Nonetheless, we loved our stay at this amazing place and would return.

“Quarto pequeno e pequeno almoço muito fraco”

The location, architecture, and outdoor space are very beautiful and well maintained. The room and bathroom are small. Breakfast was very basic, offering only one type of white bread, a croissant, sliced cheese, and ham, along with coffee, milk, a natural yogurt, and orange soda.

“Muito satisfeita, exceto pela parte do barulho no quarto causado pelo vento.”

The place is wonderful. During the night, it was very windy and the glass protection in the room rattled, creating noise all night; we hardly slept because of it.
