The room was nice and clean, and the host was very welcoming; the interior of the house looked beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was simple but well-liked. However, there was no fan in the bathroom, so a lot of steam built up during showers, and the place was far from the city center, though we were aware of that.

The host was very attentive and guided us carefully, even paying for the bus fare to the city and booking the restaurants we wanted to visit, though there was an odd awkwardness. The fridge let us take out water, fruit, etc., and we could brew coffee at will.

Michael the host was friendly on arrival. No soap in shower. One hand towel for 2 of us. Pillows were lumpy, hard and old. No tea and coffee facilities in room so had to go downstairs for same. No skimmed milk. Butter for breakfast was left out over night and was sour by breakfast. Weren't informed where to leave key when leaving. No interaction after arrival

The room was clean and it was nice to have a light breakfast included, but the bedroom décor felt a bit worn with chipped paint on the walls, the ceiling above the French doors that opened from the dining room to the garden was water‑damaged with flaking paint, and a screen in front of the doors was also water‑stained—unfortunate since that was the room where breakfast was served.
