“Prespa National Park experience”
The family running the place is kind and welcoming, and the breakfast—especially the coffee—is excellent. From the balcony you get stunning views of Lake Prespa and the Galicica Mountains. Dinner featured local produce and beef that was superb. We also took a boat trip to see ancient rock paintings, and the line of trees filled with bird song was lovely. Parking was easy. The downside was that the damped wood stove smoked at night, so we had to close the windows and crank up the air conditioning to avoid an asthma flare‑up.
