We had a few issues with Grab during check‑in, but the hotel staff were helpful, kind, and accommodating, and we’re grateful for their assistance. The room was wonderful—cozy and comfortable for two, with an exceptional toilet, strong Wi‑Fi, TV, and bottled water. A water dispenser outside the room lets you make cold/hot tea or instant noodles. The location is strategic: walking distance to Pasar Tanah Abang and a few minutes from Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia via Grab. All in all, money well spent! Thanks to Andreas, the owner, for reaching out—will definitely return to Wisma Pelangi. Love, from Malaysia. The only negative is that the air conditioner wasn’t working very well.

The place is quite well‑located, rooms are comfortable, good value for money, and the staff are excellent. The only drawback is the single‑pane windows and the loud call to prayer from inside the room.

The location was great, right next to the mall. The staff were very helpful, especially the owner who assisted us a lot during our stay. We left something in our room, and the hotel was able to forward it to our next location.

The cleanliness gave a sense of well‑being. The noise from outside, the smell in the bathroom, and the slightly too small wool blanket were issues.

We were moved to Wisma Pelangi 9, so this review covers that location, but it’s run by the same owner and has the same vibe, just a few streets away. The place was spotless, the staff—plus the owner—were incredibly friendly and offered loads of food and activity suggestions. The room felt a bit cramped, which is normal for central Jakarta, but that didn’t bother us much because there are plenty of balcony spots and outdoor areas near the lobby to relax. Plus, it’s right next to large malls, street‑food markets, and a major trans‑Jakarta bus station.
