The bed was comfy, but the kitchen sink was already full of dishes when we got there. The housekeeper knocked at 9:00 am without saying what she needed, and we thought checkout was from 9:00 am to 11:00 am as the booking info had said.

The place was clean and safe, but we couldn’t shower or use the toilet because there was no running water, and I wish they’d have a backup water tank.

She never came to greet us, there was no parking to secure our car, and the location felt unsafe in Komani.

The bed was comfortable, the room was neat, spacious, and clean, and they let me work near the drain as requested; however, there was no view, I missed the shampoo and a Rooibos teabag, the kettle leaked badly around the base and shared a plug with the microwave—an absolute no‑no—and the dogs barked at night, which was beyond their control; I’m still looking for an invoice.

The room itself was okay and clean, but the dining area and other parts of the hotel were not up to par, especially the exterior areas outside the rooms.
