The room was very comfortable, spacious and gave a sense of safety; the staff were friendly and polite, truly worth the price. A simple complimentary breakfast would have made it even better.

The lodge was stunning with breathtaking views, a tasty restaurant and great drinks; Talkeetna really captured Alaskan charm. Still, after telling the staff that my husband had broken his leg, no one at the busy front desk offered to help with our luggage, which was surprising for a hospitality place. The tub showers were outdated and not useful, and the toilets were too low.

The view from the lodge was spectacular, and the place itself looked gorgeous, but I only wished we’d been able to stay in a room with a mountain view.

The staff were super friendly, and the shuttle drivers were very helpful and knowledgeable, always ready to answer any questions.
