Muras Ordo Hotel

The location near Ala Archa was convenient, but we were told the hotel was full because a family had booked the entire place. When we showed our reservation, they handed us a room that had a broken toilet lid, moths, mosquitoes, was dirty, and the water dripped. We had to request paper towels twice and a power strip to plug in the heater. Reception was empty all the time. Breakfast consisted of cucumber and tomato salad and a French omelette with salami. We waited 15 minutes for someone to attend us, and they had the nerve to charge the full reservation without a single apology. It was the most expensive and the worst stay.

We liked this hotel; the rooms were nice and clean. The restaurant was a highlight, with great food and good service, and breakfast was fine. We wanted to hike in Ala Archa National Park, which is easy to reach. If you need a base for the park, we recommend this place. There was a small mix‑up about which rooms we received, but it was resolved quickly.

“Potentially good but there was some major issue during our stay.”

The bed was comfortable and the room was fairly spacious. Breakfast was good. Unfortunately, there was an electrical problem and no hot water when we arrived late in the evening. It appears they have a hot‑water storage boiler, and after more than half an hour of restarting it, hot water was still missing, so I had to boil water with an electric kettle and mix it with cold water to wash.

The location is good for visiting Ala Archa, and the value for money is solid for this area. The staff were a bit sloppy, but they eventually got the job done.
