Everything felt splendid, yet the piña colada recipe could use a tweak— it tasted sour and the milk on top seemed spoiled.

The food was spot on, especially the fish, but getting to my room was tough because it sat on a hill and the stairs were a real challenge for me.

The lakeside view was beautiful and the staff were very nice, but the place was extremely overpriced and not worth the money we paid even in low‑season; it looked better in pictures than in reality and the building feels rundown.

Breakfast was excellent and I enjoyed the pool, Harold was a good captain and most staff were friendly, but construction noise was loud, the bar had limited drink choices, the bathroom had an odor, and all the pillows were hard.
