The food was pretty good, and the place is right next to the caves, which is a bonus. The only real downside was the bed – it felt like a slab of stone. I think a new mattress would fix it; the cement floor seemed a bit more forgiving.

Super authentic vibe! The hosts were friendly and even hooked us up with an extra dinner even though the kitchen was closed. Every meal was tasty with generous portions.

The town itself is charming and the lobby feels welcoming, but the walls are so thin you can hear every cough from the other rooms. The bar keeps blasting music until midnight for a handful of old guys, and they won’t lower the volume for paying guests who are basically in a cheap dorm without a table.

Dinner was solid, though breakfast wasn’t offered. The bar staff were friendly, and the owners were out of sight, but the overall stay was reasonable for a country pub. The mixed grill at dinner was a highlight.

The outback location is fascinating, and the staff are nice. We even got to swim in the nearby river. The apartment, however, was almost bare – just a fridge and two beds, nothing else. It felt more like a one‑star place than a proper accommodation.
