Great location – many landmarks are within easy walking distance and the metro is just about a 2‑minute walk. There’s a shop and a restaurant nearby. Even though the accommodation is on the road, there was no noise in the room. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, everything was clean everywhere. We also appreciated the free coffee and water in the common areas and the small terrace on the floor where you can sit. Minor issues – the water flow in the shower was weaker and the fridge didn’t cool quite properly. Otherwise we were satisfied.

The host was very friendly. Breakfast was included. We arrived later than the agreed time and they still waited for us to check in without any problem.

Good location, terrace, coffee machine and water dispenser. This was our fifth time in Rome and the worst experience we’ve had in a guest house so far. We arrived at our pre‑announced arrival time, but still had to wait an hour before we could move into the room. The floor was dirty. Our socks turned black after 30 minutes. When we pointed this out to the owners, they only replied that the dirt came from our shoes and that we’d brought it in from the street and the terrace. The request for cleaning was only carried out the next day as part of the daily cleaning. Our request via WhatsApp for a second blanket was ignored on the first day. The next day we left a handwritten note asking again for a second blanket, but that was ignored again. The request for an extra pillow was not met, because the bed was very hard and there was only a small pillow for each person. After that we stopped communicating. Since personal communication on site was difficult because the service hours were from 9 am for only a few hours, which was a period when tourists were already on the move, we gave up. The room did not look like the pictures. It was cramped and there was only a narrow shelf, a “cool” fridge and a wardrobe with a small cabinet and a safe. The wardrobe had only 5 hangers and could barely fit one person. For a 7‑day stay it was insufficient. The fridge in the room did not cool, it just heated the room. Under the windowsill there was extensive black mold. Black mold was also found in the shower around the seals, the seams and the door. In the shower you had to be careful when turning the tap because the mixer handle would fall off – it was not fixed, just plugged in. The shower door was broken. Under our sink a puddle would regularly form because the trap was no longer sealed. We then put a toothbrush cup under the sink, which was already unusable for its original purpose due to lime and toothpaste residue. In addition, the sliding door of the bathroom was not lockable and would open by itself. The bathroom mirror was very dirty and dusty and had toothpaste splashes from previous guests. On one day our towels weren’t changed, from the fourth day we didn’t get toilet paper refilled, on the sixth day we didn’t receive a full set of towels. The internet also stopped working on two days.

“Wonderful”

The managers and staff were excellent and friendly, very professional. The location is great, close to all attractions, and there's coffee in the room. I prefer the other Aventino building with its terrace 🤗

Decent sized room, bathroom a little small but 5 minute walk from circus Maximus, metro and lots of Aventine entertainment. And cool, effective Ac in late September days. Bathroom a little small
