A charming old hotel in a very, very central spot—so central that you can hear the noise from any fiesta happening nearby. The rooms are comfortable and come with a nice balcony overlooking the Alameda. There’s no lift, but the staff are pleasant and the price is great. It can get noisy, especially during events, but earplugs help and it remains an excellent choice.

The stay was good, but I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant food, which was the main drawback, earning an 8.0/10.

The staff were very friendly and let us into the room before the scheduled time, yet every time we leave we have to hand back the key—even if it’s just for a quick shop—so that’s a downside, rating 8.0/10.
