The room was too small for the price.

The walls between rooms have no insulation, so it’s noisy. The air‑conditioner made a strange noise at full fan speed, and the corridor from the entrance to the bed and bathroom was awful.

taiping is a very small town. we couldnt get novotel and this was the next best thing for the UTMB. You'd need a car to get to the start line. the hotel was great to arrange breakfast for runners at 430am. very thoughtful

I loved how quiet it was near the hills, the layout was nice, check‑in and check‑out were easy, and there was plenty of parking. The sound‑proofing was surprisingly good even though the container rooms are close together. The only drawback was the sachet shampoo and shower gel, which felt inadequate, and the pool seemed more suited for kids than for laps.
