I liked how close it is to the beach and the medina, but the cleanliness is terrible and the staircase is dangerous.

The position is good, but Essaouira is a very humid place. As soon as I entered the room, a strong smell of damp/mold hit me. There are no external windows, only internal ones. The curtains have mold, spiders, the toilet tray is dirty and I try to clean and disinfect it, the cleaning is appalling. Only one roll of toilet paper. The soap bottles are almost empty, put them there like that (so don’t put them). Only one outlet near the bed. I go out to get some air and I think I will have to stay 2 nights. I come back to sleep and shower, towels are wet and stained like the sheets, I write my complaint and the reception guy comes to solve the problem, telling me that the dampness is everywhere in Essaouira but he changes my room for cleaning. The room I end up in is on the ground floor with a window that looks outside (better) but still the cleaning was poor again, sheets and towels wet and stained. Only one outlet in the whole room. The dampness was felt even there. You can’t make people sleep in a place that charges so much; there are air conditioners that dehumidify, they don’t eliminate but at least reduce. There are dryers for laundry. I’m sorry but I rarely see myself looking forward to leaving a holiday place. Spend more but at least breathe… The photos don’t reflect reality.

Ottima accoglienza. Camera grande. Posizione centrale nel quartiere ebraico. Pulita. Materasso comodo. Non abbiamo valutato la colazione perché siamo andati via presto. Forse avrei sostituito un asciugamano del kit accoglienza. Ma per il resto niente da segnalare
