“Toller Platz für eine Nacht”

Das Bois Vert is tucked away in a plain residential area; there’s actually no signage, but Google Maps finds the way even if the Zem driver doesn’t. I received a large, bright room with everything I needed. The balcony is nice for sitting outside in the evenings. At night it’s wonderfully quiet. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were good, and they made me an extra vegetarian dish that wasn’t on the menu. The Wifi is fine, except the entire power grid is just about breaking down.

“Naprawde urokliwy hotelik...”

Every single one of the best hotels in town. Completely empty; I was the only guest. It’s located on a side road, but the charm comes from the view from the terrace where you can see the local Beninese village. The food was decent; if something isn’t on the menu they still cook it for you on request. Fast internet. Warm water. The TV wouldn’t work, but that’s okay.

“Een hotel met heel wat troeven”

The rooms were spacious and really clean, which was great. The hotel's chef is clearly top-notch, serving up excellent meals and a fantastic breakfast spread. The manager was super helpful, too. The only minor hiccup was that the housekeeping staff seemed to still be getting the hang of things, but I'm sure they'll get there.
