The hotel is paradisiacal, with a private beach and fantastic pools. The entire team is extremely friendly and efficient, and the breakfast is sensational—everything is perfect!

Our stay at Belmond Romazzino in Sardinia was truly exceptional and surpassed all expectations. From arrival, we felt incredibly welcomed; check‑in was smooth and we received a great tour of the hotel. Christie Alvarez greeted us warmly and stayed attentive throughout our stay, showing genuine care, professionalism, and meticulous detail. The room was breathtaking, with every detail thoughtfully considered, delivering a level of luxury that felt special. The food was also outstanding—every restaurant we tried scored a 10/10 for quality, presentation, and service. I’m grateful to every member of the Romazzino team; each person we met was kind, welcoming, professional, and always ready to help. It’s the people, along with the stunning property, that make Belmond Romazzino unforgettable, and we’re already planning our next visit. Highly recommended. Everything was absolutely wonderful.

“Please read my comments and take them seriously is my only message”

The location ranks among the best, but the open toilets—no doors, integrated into the bathroom—offered no privacy, which was unacceptable. The bathrooms had barely enough counter space for toiletries, and the room’s overall design, while visually appealing, failed to meet practical usability standards. We stayed a full week yet never ate breakfast, even though it was automatically included with our room and we had to pay for it separately. The spa’s bathrobes and towels were excessively large and heavy, making them uncomfortable; lighter cotton options would have been preferable. The room keys kept malfunctioning, requiring us to reactivate the card keys more times than the number of days we stayed. This is the first time I’ve encountered such issues at a Belmond-owned and operated property, which is surprising given my previous perception of the Belmond Hotel Group as the finest in the world.

“Truly a gem on the Costa Smeralda”

We hadn’t stayed at this place since the ’80s, but we returned during a transfer from a boat excursion and were joyfully overwhelmed. The staff’s friendliness, the overall service philosophy, the renovated layout and interior, the pools and beach, the gym, and the food and breakfast were all amazing! The only downside was that housekeeping in the corridor was rather noisy from 07:00 am onwards.
