The room was comfortable with the usual amenities, and the staff were friendly. I didn’t know it was a “love hotel” when I booked; check‑in is only after 7 pm, and you must call reception to leave your room. The hotel offers rooms by the hour for customers to bring prostitutes. I chose it because it was a holiday and there were no rooms available in Tokyo at my budget, and I was unaware of its purpose.

The front desk staff were flexible in their approach. The room had many bugs, the toilet exhaust fan was broken, and the door was damaged and couldn’t be closed properly.
