Jo was very accommodating, and meeting Elvis, the resident peacock, was a highlight of the trip. The spa was ready for us on arrival, making the whole room smell amazing, and everything was beautifully arranged. There was nothing we didn’t like.

The room and location are beautiful and will stay in our memories, especially the peacock. Basic facilities such as water or toothpaste weren’t provided. The payment for the room decoration felt a bit pushy. We had already paid for the rooms in advance and were told about additional services like the room decoration, which we chose, and initially were told the payment would be collected at check‑in. Then, on the day of our trip, a mail asked us to pay via PayID so the surprise wouldn’t be spoiled and arrangements could be made on time. The communication felt unprofessional; I would have gladly paid in advance when booking rather than rushing on the day of our journey.

The room felt like a mini‑spa – the in‑room bathtub was a real treat and the shower was fantastic. The bed was super comfy and the walls really kept the noise out, which was a nice surprise. All in all, a solid, hassle‑free stay.
