The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. Since there was hardly anything to do there, they kept offering excursions that were all included in the price. The food was great – plenty of it, with four different dishes per meal plus fruit. The rooms were very small, with four mattresses on the floor that filled up the space; two beds would have been better than mattresses on the floor. Only a wool blanket was provided for bedding, no sheets. The mattresses were innerspring and you could feel every coil. Getting into the water was tough because there was no ladder; instead a movable water platform with ears was set up, and you had to lift yourself out of it, which was hard to stand on. Older people never went into the water. You were only allowed to enter with a life jacket, which did what it was supposed to do and kept you afloat, but it had nothing to do with swimming.
