“Nel complesso "benino" ma tutto molto essenziale”

The location was strategic—though only useful if you have your own car—to reach Arona and the Abbey of Santo Spirito. Parking for a car was fine. The room lacked shelves and a small table for personal items, and the TV had no public channels (Rai, Mediaset, etc.). We didn’t meet the owners, only a very polite Ukrainian lady who unfortunately didn’t understand or speak Italian. Breakfast was average, with stale bread (frozen sandwiches, white bread that was not well baked).

Everything was simple, but 100% in order and hygienic. There was little to no downside.

The bedroom was tidy, had air conditioning, and the bed was good. A small fridge was available, and check‑in was done via a code. The location isn’t inspiring but is perfect for exploring the area by car. I didn’t expect much from the breakfast.

The house was brand‑new with fresh furnishings; the rooms and bathroom were spacious, and the breakfast area was bright with a well‑kept garden. The breakfast was varied, though many items were frozen or discount, which I still liked. In the common room there was a coffee machine, but unfortunately no milk or sugar. When we arrived, the host had mistakenly told us to open the wrong locker, and it was evening—he’d been notified at the time of booking and when we left home. We waited about 30 minutes in front of the B&B gate without any response on the phone or intercom, which was very unpleasant and nearly forced us to look for another place. That incident lowered my overall experience. The breakfast timing felt too late for me. The wall finishes were rough compared to the villa’s aesthetic, which was a real disappointment since I was traveling with a builder.
