We booked the place four days ahead, but when we got there at night with a full car and the kids, the owner told us the house was still occupied. He said he had sent us a message about it, yet we never received anything. If the accommodation wasn’t available, the reservation shouldn’t have been confirmed. I hope they fix this process so other guests don’t end up in the same spot.

The house is spacious with very comfortable living rooms, and the courtyard lined with banana trees is a great spot for breakfast or eating outside. Eddy, the owner, was always available and genuinely friendly, which made the stay pleasant. The only drawback was that the indoor kitchen sink didn’t work, forcing us to wash dishes in the outdoor kitchen—a bit inconvenient.

This place is huge and well‑equipped, and the courtyard with its banana trees is perfect for relaxing. The only downside we ran into was a drawer that was covered/blocked, making it difficult to use.

We had an excellent stay in Cape Verde. Eddy was a wonderful host—always reachable, ready to help, and his warm welcome made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We highly recommend staying here.
