The location was strategic for my trip and the accommodation was comfortable.
“Baño averiado, ruido constante y una anfitriona conflictiva”
I would have preferred not to have booked these nine nights. I’m telling this so anyone who comes after knows what they’re getting into. The bathroom didn’t work: the cistern was broken and I had to hit it hard several times to get it to drain. That happened on six of the nine days, and I notified Booking every day. The technician didn’t fix anything; he talked to the owner in dialect, apparently thinking I didn’t understand, and said he’d “pretend” to fix it. Then he gave excuses like “you have to cut the wall,” and that the plumber wasn’t answering. Add a shower where you can’t raise your arms without hitting your elbows, and an air conditioner whose drain ends in a bucket on the balcony that I had to empty every day. Resting was impossible: washing machines spun at midnight, children crying, dogs barking all the time, roosters and construction work in the building. His response was that he had already warned others and couldn’t do more. The area is secluded and poorly lit; at night it’s unpleasant to walk back. The worst was the treatment. While I was at the airport, I was bombarded with messages and calls. The welcome was a criminal code article warning me about what happens if I make noise. He tried to knock on my door even though I asked to rest, and insisted the cleaner could enter my balcony at ten because the property is hers and she sets the rules. When I mentioned the bathroom and the noise, he said I was too demanding and that I should stay at a four‑star hotel; I replied that a functioning toilet and the ability to sleep aren’t luxuries, they’re the minimum in any accommodation. Since then he offered to refund the remaining nights if I left, which sounded less like a solution and more like an invitation to leave. Every complaint turned into a personal attack, with endless messages explaining why I was wrong. We crossed paths in a mall and he averted his gaze. In the end he deleted the chat. A shabby place with unresolved issues, a dark area, and a confrontational owner who offered no resolution. I would not repeat it.
We had a very pleasant stay. The space was welcoming, clean, and well maintained, making it easy to feel right at home. The location was excellent, very close to the center and convenient for walking to the main sights. Overall, we were very satisfied with our choice and would recommend it :)
Everything was clear when giving instructions, and the people were very kind.
“Parfait pour une ou deux nuits”
The accommodation is perfectly within walking distance to visit the Reggia di Caserta and grab a pizza at “I Masanielli di Francesco Martucci.” The room was spacious and the place had everything needed for a peaceful night. The neighborhood was very quiet and tranquil.
