The house and view are gorgeous, but the hiking trails were washed away, so I couldn’t reach the rock pools and rivers that drew me here; check‑in felt rushed and impersonal, leaving me feeling like an inconvenience, and when I asked for picnic baskets it seemed like too much trouble, while the wood provided was minimal and the website over‑promised the place.
