The staff were friendly, but the room was tiny, lacking a wardrobe and drawers, and the bar‑restaurant staff were terribly rude.

The rooms were clean, quiet, and charming, with a great shower and a comfy bed, plus a nice area for breakfast and dinner. The neighborhood was lively and colorful, full of things to do and with easy access to public transport. Runners can hit the Imperial Palace loop just a stone’s throw away for uninterrupted runs. The downstairs pizzas were some of the best I’ve had, even better than some I ate in Naples. I’d recommend this place as a solid base in Tokyo. The rooms were a bit tight for our luggage, which is expected in Tokyo. Netflix wasn’t on the TV, but we could screen‑share from an iPhone, so it wasn’t a huge deal. After all, you’re not in Tokyo to binge‑watch all day.

The hotel is very pretty and well designed.

The location is great, the rooms are clean and, though they’re typical Japanese in size, the staff are courteous and helpful.

The hotel sits in a quiet spot just a short walk from the main street where the metro/train station is. The room was acceptable given how small Japanese rooms usually are. Breakfast offered a wide selection in a pleasant setting. The hotel also has a pizzeria, a restaurant, and a bar with a live DJ. It gets somewhat noisy from the street, especially in the mornings when the street life starts up, and there’s also some night‑time street noise; better sound‑proof windows would help. The train station is a bit of a walk away.
