The view was great, the amenities were high quality, and the place was spotless with plenty of nice touches like candles. However, the table only seats six for eight guests, there are no bedside lamps, the proximity to the busy main road made the front bedrooms noisy at night, the Jack and Jill bathroom had opaque glass doors so light from the other bedroom leaked through, and there’s no storage in the bunk‑bed room.

The location was excellent and the caravan was well appointed. Unfortunately the Wi‑Fi was down and, even after we reported it immediately, it stayed out of service the whole stay. A new Sky router was delivered by Royal Mail for activation on 6 July, but we weren’t told about it beforehand, which made it hard to keep in touch with family. The 4G signal was weak, the dishwasher didn’t work and the model differed from what the guide described; the correct manual was emailed but we couldn’t open it due to the poor Wi‑Fi. I suspect a fault with the door mechanism, and the upstairs area was unusable because it relied on Wi‑Fi. We could only use the free‑view downstairs TV, which was a major let‑down.

The views and location were great, and the caravan was very clean and spacious. The only thing missing were bedside lamps.
